Possible reason why Roman Reigns mentioned Brock Lesnar on SmackDown. The Beast Incarnate has not been seen Wrestlemania 36.
Roman Reigns stirred the pot on this week’s episode of SmackDown when he name dropped Brock Lesnar in his promo. This piqued the interest of many because of the history the two men share. There is also the added matter of Paul Heyman now managing Reigns instead of Lesnar.

Brock Lesnar has not been seen on WWE Television since dropping the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania 36 all the way back in 2020. However, fans believe that he isn’t done with the WWE and still has a few matches left in him. But is one of them against Reigns?
Possible reason why Roman Reigns mentioned Brock Lesnar on SmackDown
According to Ringside News, there has been no talks between conversation between the WWE and Brock Lesnar at all. The name drop “was either something between Roman, Heyman, and Vince [McMahon], or it was just Roman and Heyman once again just throwing out names” that might work in the future.
The report also adds that there are no plans as of now and it was done to “leave it to the audience as a talking point,” because “they like for there to be guessing games played.”
Lesnar and Reigns last faced each other at SummerSlam 2018. Reigns came out victorius ending Lesnar’s record 504 day reign. Reigns himself is in the middle of a historic reign at the moment. He has currently held the title for over 300 days, which, at the moment, is the second longest Universal title reign, only behind Brock Lesnar.
Will Lesnar return to spoil Reigns’ party just as the Tribal Chief did? At this moment there are no plans for that to happen but with the WWE returing to touring, who knows if he pops up for a surprise appearance eventually.
