The Viper spoke on the mic about how he does what he wants when he wants. However, something’s missing and he hasn’t been able to put a finger on it, until it hit him like a ton of bricks; he wants to become the WWE Champion once again.

He then spoke of McIntyre’s firing from the company and eventual redemption that culminated with the WWE title victory over Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. However, he addressed the problem he had with McIntyre- The WWE Champion has what he wants.

He ended the segment with a challenge and a warning of an RKO he will never see coming before walking out.

The match has long been reported to be a possibility especially after Edge was put out of commission with an injury. The seeds of the clash have now been planted and it should only be a matter of time before the match is made official.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
