Survivor Series WarGames 2022 wrapped up with an iconic WarGames match. During the post-show media scrum, Triple H thanked fans and superstars who made the show the highest success in 35 years. However, only some were happy. The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns was planned to show up at the press conference but fans only saw Paul Heyman and Sami Zayn. The reason for Reigns’ absence at the presser was that he was upset with Kevin Owens.
The Bloodline reigned supreme at Survivor Series WarGames after defeating The Brawling Brutes in a grueling matchup. During the match at one point, all participants were laid out when Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns took center stage.
Standing face-to-face, Owen’s shouted, “I’m not done with you, not by a long shot” and delivered a slap unexpectedly to the face of the Tribal Chief. The impact of the slap was so loud that even viewers felt it. The duo then engaged in a dogfight exchanging blows.

It later came to light that the slap from Owens was unplanned and that Roman Reigns was furious backstage following the match. According to Fightful Select, Roman Reigns was “visibly upset” when he made his way back to the locker room.
Furious over the unplanned spot, Roman Reigns mentioned that he might have possibly ruptured his eardrum. A lot of obscenities were heard in the locker room as Roman Reigns expressed his disapproval of the unplanned spot.

Some sources believe that both men were able to get past the incident as it happened in the “heat of the moment”.
The talent that interacted with Fightful stated that both men will be able to set aside their differences and work together. Wrestling Observer Radio confirmed that Reigns’ left eye was bruised from the impact and that Roman was initially blowing off steam but 20 minutes later, it was all water under the bridge.
Roman Reigns is reportedly set to defend his Undisputed Championship against Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble
The Royal Rumble 2023 will mark the third straight year with Roman Reigns as the top champion in WWE. According to a new report by WrestlingNews.Co, Kevin Owens will challenge Roman Reigns to a match at the second largest PPV in WWE, The Royal Rumble.
This will be a shot at redemption for Ownes given that he lost a last-man-standing match against Reigns at the Royal Rumble 2021. Although the report is yet to be confirmed by WWE, it is more likely to see the duo going to blows and renewing their rivalry.
