Sasha Banks pins Asuka for the first time ever at Survivor Series 2020. The SmackDown women’s champion brought her brand back on level with RAW.
Despite being on opposite brands, Sasha Banks and Asuka have faced each other several times this year. In fact, Sasha even managed to prise the RAW women’s championship from her for a few weeks before dropping it back to her at SummerSlam.

For some reason however, every time they go head to a head, there is no staleness. Each match brings something new and that is down to the quality of the two women. Asuka is arguably the best female wrestler in the world and Sasha is the perfect opponent anyone would ever want. A fight between them has no choice but to steal the show without fail and tonight was no exception.
Sasha Banks pins Asuka for the first time ever at Survivor Series 2020
Sasha has ended a few unwanted streaks this year. She was the only horsewomen not to win the SmackDown Women’s champion and she did it at Hell in a Cell, a match type she had never won in before. She then successfully defended her title for the first time in her main roster WWE Career.
Tonight, she pinned Asuka for the first time in the WWE. Sasha has technically won twice against Asuka twice. The first time was under questionable circumstances when Bayley replaced an injured referee and counted the pin. The match was later voided and a rematch was set which Sasha won by count out after Asuka abandoned the match to help Kairi Sane.
The two had an amazing back and forth with both women trading blows and submission locks.

Sasha and Asuka looked sloppier near the end of the match but it came off as two women, coming off a war trying to find their second wind to bring the battle to an end. Sasha finally caught Asuka coming off the ropes and finished her with a jackknife pin.
