SummerSlam 2020’s first Title match made official

SummerSlam 2020’s first Title match made official. The announcement comes at the back of a number one contender’s clash on Monday Night RAW.

The Road to the biggest party of the summer has finally begun. SummerSlam 2020’s first bout, a title match has just been made official. The Viking Raiders vs. Angel Garza & Andrade vs. Ricochet & Cedric Alexander number one contenders match was announced with an intention to pair The Street Profits with a challenger.

A good match considering the calibre of the wrestlers in the ring. It wasn’t out of the ordinary but the match served its purpose. The Raiders were established as the powerhouses while the smaller participants fantastically worked together.

Ivar hit a somersault from the top rope to the outside. With everyone down outside, Garza took advantage of the situation to hit Alexander with the Wing Clipper for the victory and earn a title match at SummerSlam.

The Street Profits vs Angel Garza & Andrade for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship is the first official match of SummerSlam 2020. Right after the match was made official, the challengers attacked the Champions before making a hasty retreat.

It is unfortunate that The Street Profit’s feud with the Viking Raiders never amounted to anything and will perhaps be notorious for the time the WWE had ninja’s on bikes in their performance centre. Having an actual heel team to go up against however, could elevate both the champion and the championships, both of whom have been dormant for sometime now.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
