Let’s be honest. If there was ever going to be a football side that Triple H would support, it was going to be West Ham, isn’t it? The Game has himself said so that he supports the Hammers even if he doesn’t know too much about the sport.

Triple responded to a tweet about West Ham’s tribute with two hammer emojis. He also shared the video of the West Ham players walking out to his music in the second half of their emphatic 4-0 win over Doncaster Rovers.

Triple H has compared West Ham and their fans to the WWE and their fans in the past.

‘West Ham is probably the closest to what we do, with the passion of their fan base and their loyalty, right? That’s the closest to what we do.’ Triple H had said of the Premier League side.

The Game had also previously urged Declan Rice to stay at the club when transfer rumors swirled.

In recent weeks, another London side, Arsenal, played Kurt Angle’s theme song during the second half of their match as well. The WWE Hall of Famer had an interesting comment regarding the unexpected but welcome tribute.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
