Ric Flair death rumors: Family clarifies the WWE Legend’s health condition amidst death hoax. Say that he is expected to make a full recovery.

TMZ had reported on Thursday that WWE Legend Ric Flair was rushed to the hospital following a medical emergency. They had claimed the situation was very serious. However, The Nature Boy’s family members have since spoken up and downplayed the gravity of the situation.

Ric Flairs son in law, Conrad Thompson spoke to CBS Sports to bring clarification on the matter:

“This is not a last-minute surprise surgery to family [members]. I knew that he was going to be having a procedure done today. I don’t think it’s nearly as grave or serious as TMZ would have us believe because Ric is in good spirits about it, knew it was happening,” Thompson explained. “[He could have chosen] to have it done now or after [attending Starrcast, a wrestling convention in Las] Vegas and decided to go ahead and get it done now because he thought he would be feeling good and wanted to get this done beforehand.”

Flair’s wife, Wendy Barlow, also spoke to TMZ and said that the 16-time World Champion was expected to make a full recovery. She said:

“Due to ongoing health complications, Ric was taken to the hospital and is expected to undergo a procedure tomorrow morning, after which he expects to fully recover.”

Comments from the family members however, hasn’t stopped opportunists from spreading hoaxes and rumors.

Hoaxes and Rumors

@WWEUmiverse a parody account of the WWE started the Ric Flair death rumors. They posted of the legend’s death on their Twitter handle. The fake account is misspelled with an ‘M’ instead of an ‘N’. Many people didn’t notice the small spelling change though and believed the news.

Another website by the name of LFRSolutions has reported that Flair has been declared brain dead. In their defense they do carry a disclaimer that says their work is satirical in nature. How they consider someone’s death a piece in satire is beyond understandable. The print size of the disclaimer is also beyond comprehension. Their grotesque attempt at humor has led to many people believing the disrespectful news from the disreputable site.

Ric Flair had famously claimed that he would drink 10 bottles of beer and 5 mixed drinks everyday for the last 20 years. However, after he spent 11 days in coma in 2017 after he suffered multiple organ problems and the subsequent surgery, Flair claims that he has given up on drinking.

Conclusion

The legend is fine and according to his son in law he did not think this was going to be reported or on TMZ. Everything else you here is merely a hoax spread by someone with a sick sense of humor. The Nature boy will continue to be with us. Hopefully for a long long time.
