WWE reportedly planning for Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey. The two were scheduled to face each other twice previously back in 2018 and 2019.

Fans were hyped for Survivor Series 2018. The RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion were scheduled to take on each other in the name of brand supremacy. Unfortunately, Lynch missed out due to a concussion and Charlotte Flair took her place instead.
Lynch went on to win the Royal Rumble and challenged Rousey at Wrestlemania 35. However, WWE inserted Charlotte into the mix making it a triple threat match. Fans have since lamented never witnessing a singles match between Lynch and Rousey. Turns out, the dream match is still very much a possibility.
WWE reportedly planning for Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey
According to WrestlingNews.co, the WWE have been looking to book a match between Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch for the last two years. The match hasn’t taken place yet due to various reasons. However, the WWE are still keen for the showdown and people backstage are of the opinion that it could take place at either Wrestlemania 38 or 39.
“WrestleMania 38 in Dallas has been discussed but others in the company feel that it would be better to hold that match off until WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles since that is Rousey’s hometown and having L.A. host the show would guarantee more mainstream publicity.”
Rousey has not appeared on WWE TV since the triple threat match at Wrestlemania 35. She announced her pregnancy with husband Travis Browne last month through a video on her YouTube channel.
Lynch also departed the WWE last year following her own pregnancy with Seth Rollins. She gave birth to her child in December. She was recently spotted training for her own WWE return.
