“My life has always been a “don’t ask, don’t tell” situation, but I felt like it was the right time, especially when you’ve found the right one you’re in love with,” Nox told Newsweek. “t was the right time to do that. The reaction has been great. There are a few people who obviously don’t agree with that, but 99 percent of the reactions have been positive. I’ve got texts coming through from so many colleagues and friends. It was nice. It’s great to see that there are so many nice people in the world.”

Nox, revealed that she was in constant touch with Sonya Deville; perhaps the first female wrestler in the promotion to come out. In fact, conversations with her eventually helped her break the news to the fans.

“I actually talked to Sonya before I even did this,” Nox revealed. “She was a big, big help. She gave me her phone number and told me to text her if I needed anything. So we keep in contact quite a lot about it. She’s a massive help with the fans, because my family knew but my fans didn’t. So she helped me bring it out to the public.”

Nox recently won a fatal 4-way elimination match involving Dakota Kai, Candice LeRae and Mia Yim at the Great American Bash to become the number one contender to Io Shirai’s NXT women’s championship, However, she lost the match on the recent episode of NXT.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
