WWE Raw News: 5 SmackDown Superstars that could turn up on the next episode of Raw. Here at SportsRush we present to you the possible wrestlers who may cross brand lines and give you our reason why.
Last weeks Raw and SmackDown so the introduction of the Wildcard rule that allowed sanctioned appearances for up to 4 wrestlers for a one-night only appearance. Several Top stars took advantage of the new rule and featured in both shows. Fans can expect more smackdown stars to come on raw again next week.

Here are our 5 possible candidates
Roman Reigns
Let’s get the most obvious one out of the way. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer had earlier reported that Both NBC and Fox wanted Roman on their TV programming and Vince created the Wildcard rule as a compromise. It is no secret that the company believes Roman is their biggest star. They will therefore make it a point to have him on both shows especially when they’re amidst this ratings crisis.
Finn Balor
In the Last episode of Raw, AJ spoke about bringing some friends from Raw to SmackDown. Was the former bullet club leader the friend he was talking about? Could Balor make his return to the Red Brand? The answer is most probably yes. The WWE is in the middle of its European tour. The Raw and SmackDown rosters are touring separately. But the rosters are Pre-shakeup, meaning that Finn just like Roman, will tour with the Raw Brand. There is therefore a very good chance that the first ever Universal Champion could turn up on Raw.
Kofi Kingston
The WWE Champion has been on fire off late. Riding on his consecutive title defences, he has the fans firmly behind him once again like he did pre-mania. WWE is likely going to want to take advantage of this and hope that his appearance will help with their ratings. If they do, I hope it’s a segment that means something and not just shoehorn him in without a rhyme or reason him. That would devalue the Champion and inadvertently affect the ratings as well.
Elias
Elias is currently set to face Roman. They’ve been locked in a feud ever since Roman punched Vince McMahon on his SmackDown debut, If Roman shows up at Raw, chances are Elias will follow him to the Red Brand too. Perhaps he will have Shane with him or maybe he’ll show up alone to prove himself a worthy opponent to Roman. Elias is also touring with the Raw roster.
Charlotte Flair
Charlotte is without doubt one of WWE’s biggest stars irrespective of gender. Her appearance on Raw could lead to new exciting match ups or she could even team up with Lacey Evans and take out Becky together. The only problem here is that Charlotte is touring with the SmackDown Roster. But we can never say never in wrestling now, can we? There hasn’t been a single women’s wrestler to cross brands under the Wildcard rule yet and knowing WWE’s obsession with inserting Charlotte in everything first, it is very possible that Charlotte could become the first women to exploit the rule.
