Tom Brady Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Johnson is one of the most popular people in the world. It is no surprise that he has a clean cut image, with some of the best PR work done to ensure that the Hollywood star remains a beloved figure. It is not that he is a terrible person or anything, but Dwayne Johnson once had a side to himself that would be considered a PR’s nightmare. The Rock, as Dwayne Johnson was once known to the world, was once the most savage and ruthless talker. During his days as a wrestler, he possessed the ability to cut someone in half with just a microphone and the freedom to say whatever he felt like. That version of himself, has all but ceased to exist, although, he does bring it out every once in a while like he did when he trolled Tom Brady for the whole world to see.

Dwayne Johnson as The Rock had several catchphrases and gestures that are to this day wildly popular. Tom Brady lifted The Rock’s “It doesn’t matter!” catchphrase, while sending a video towards his way to inform the actor that he and UnderArmour had come together and were gifting him Brady’s signature TB12 sleepwear.

Dwayne Johnson responded to the video via his YouTube channel. The wrestler turned actor had a more than amusing reaction to it. He first lifted his jaw before going all ‘The Rock’ on him.

“Sweet tap dancing baby Jesus! What in the f*ck did we just watch?” he exclaimed. “I mean, you are sitting there. You are sitting on some rocks, which I guess that’s supposed to be profound because my name is The Rock. And your legs are open like Kermit the frog, like you are getting ready to sing, rainbow connection for Christ’s sake”

He then showed Brady how to deliver the line before congratulating him on his partnership with UnderArmour, but not before he made another joke, one about a certain part of his body that he compared to a dinosaur.

Will Tom Brady retire from the NFL?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the Dallas Cowboys, 31-14, to bring their season to an end. Fans have since speculated if this is where Tom Brady finally closes the curtains on his career. The quarter back tipped his hat to the crowd before kissing his parents after the game, which only added more fuel to the fire.

The seven time Superbowl Champion made it clear that he wouldn’t talk about his future, telling reporters:

“I’m going home. I’m going to get a good night’s sleep – as good as I can tonight. No, you know what? I’m not. This game has received a lot of attention. So, I’m just going to take each day as it comes. Truly.”

The manner in which he ended the interview, however, has left everyone scratching their heads, wondering if this was a subtle goodbye from the legendary quarterback.

Tom Brady announced his retirement from the sport last year, only to reverse the decision 40 days later. The NFL will legend will certainly not want a repeat of it again this year. However, at 45, the fight against Father Time may not be as easy as it once was.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
