3 of the Best Minecraft Desert Seeds You Should Explore for Archeology Goodies

The newest Minecraft major update 1.20, titled Trails and Tales will bring archeology to the game. What better way to take advantage of those than to explore desert seeds?

Exploring desert seeds in Minecraft will allow you to farm Archeological items such as Pottery Shards or encounter Sniffer and Camel mobs. There are a lot of things you can do in the desert, primarily exploring temples, wells, and other structures. These desert seeds are a cheat code to quickly get all the desert-related goodies you want.

3. Desert Village with Temple

A desert village is one of the best things you can start with. The best part about this seed is that it has a temple that you can use to explore and find pottery shards. The villagers inside have popular jobs like an ironsmith. Gathering resources from them for the Nether won’t be hard.

This seed code is for the Bedrock version and the coordinates for the location are 660,63,176. Here is the seed code: 7800560586692033726.

2. Three Desert Temples in Spawn

Why settle for one desert temple when you can get three, and that too within short distances of each other? There are lots of archeological sites and those sites have lots of loot. Traveling to different temples and gathering shards can be a tall task. However, if there are three close to each other it can really shorten the time.

You can get at least six suspicious sand blocks using this seed. However, if you want to get more you can always try the other seeds on this list. Here is the seed code: 2183. This is only available for the Java version.

There are a myriad of reasons why you should prioritize this seed above everything else. It spawns you inside a desert village with an ironsmith and multiple farms in it. There is another village with a lava pool in it. Along with a lava pool, it also has a desert temple.

There is lots of farmable loot available in this loot. The coordinates for the desert temple are -408, 71, 120. Here is the code for the seed: 11067183474. This seed is only available for the Java version.

Those are all the desert seeds you should explore if you want to find desert-exclusive and archeological loot. However, if you want to explore the Nether instead, click here.
