3 of the Most Useful Nether Mobs in Minecraft!

The Nether is a huge part of the end game in Minecraft. Players can farm many important items if they keep exploring this place before facing the Ender Dragon. The mobs here are tough but the loot they drop is useful for many weapons, armor, and more! Make no mistake about it, there is danger everywhere but exploring this place will have a positive impact on your gameplay rather than a negative one.

Three Mobs You Should Keep an Eye Out for In The Nether in Minecraft

Most of these mobs are hostile since it is an inhospitable environment to live in. There is lots of loot in its own right in this dimension but these mobs will either be useful in farming XP or materials.

#3 – Piglins

Piglins are a dangerous bunch. They are also the main villains of Minecraft Legends. These mobs will directly attack the player without any hesitation unless they are wearing gold. You can exploit them using gold and get them to drop some pretty rare items.  In addition, the gold armor is a ticket to being left alone by these piglins.

However, make sure you stock up on gold ingots since you can trade with these piglins with ingots. You can get some pretty rare items from them by doing this. Most prominently, the eye of the ender is essential in completing story mode.

#2 – Striders

You will quite enjoy these mobs since you can ride them. The Nether is a really hostile place but these are not hostile mobs. You will need a warped fungus on a stick so you can make something to direct the mob with. These mobs are immune to the lava and you can easily use them to traverse the Nether. If you decide to kill them you will get a decent amount of XP along with some string.

These mobs are really versatile but we recommend not killing them since string can easily be found in the overworld. In addition, you will need a saddle to ride these mobs so make sure you have one on you.

#1 – Blazes

Blazes are one of the most farmable mobs in Minecraft. We talked about the eye of the ender previously, you will need a blaze rod to make it. Blaze rods can only be made by killing blazes. That is why, a lot of people start their own blaze farms to mass produce blaze rods. In addition, blaze rods are also used to break down into blaze powder which can be used to power brewing stations.

These blaze items are the reason why a lot of Minecraft players start blaze farms of their own.

These are all the important mobs you need to know about in the Nether. Do you have any more mobs to add to this list? What is your favorite mob to farm? Click here to see the best mods for Animals in Minecraft.
