AJ Styles Vs Ricochet: “The Phenomenal one” and “The one and only” put on an incredible match on Raw tonight.

The WWE had earlier announced that AJ Styles and Ricochet were to face each other on tonight’s episode of Raw. The returning AJ Styles took on newly crowned United States Champion in a non-title match.

Fans chanted both their names as they traded holds. AJ soon took control showing exactly why he was the veteran of the two.  But he was soon distracted with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson walking down the ramp. AJ told the two that he wasn’t going to let them ruin the match and asked them to leave.

AJ Styles Vs Ricochet resumed after they left. This time Ricochet dominated the proceedings as he kept AJ grounded. The two then had an incredible back and forth as the Fans chanted “this is awesome!”.

They traded more strikes in the middle of the ring. Ricochet soon went on the offence and laid AJ out. He even nailed a standing Shooting Star Press but AJ kicked out at 2.

AJ managed to strike back but Ricochet countered everything that AJ threw his way. Unfortunately, He couldn’t keep the phenomenal one down.

A frustrated Ricochet then attempted the 630 but AJ moved out. He landed a Phenomenal Forearm on the United States champion and covered him for the non-title win.

After the match, AJ snatched the U.S title from the referee. He then handed it to Ricochet and helped him up to his feet. Fans cheered as AJ raises Ricochet’s arm and embraced him in the middle of the ring.
