Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma rift: BCCI CEO Rahul Johri is likely to fly to US in an attempt to resolve the alleged split, says reports
In what initially seemed like an issue blown out of proportion, come the latest developments, looks like a serious cause of concern regarding the reports of alleged rift between Team India skipper Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
With new reports stemming up with each passing day, the mainstream as well as the social media has left no stones unturned to dig out the smallest possible clue that could be related to the case.
Moreover, with Kohli deciding to skip the press conference prior Team India’s departure for the West Indies tour, has perhaps given enough intimation that there is something fishy, not worth disclosing regarding the internal atmosphere of the team’s dressing room.

Now, as per a recent addition to the never ending reports, BCCI CEO Rahul Johri is reportedly set to fly to the United States in an attempt to resolve the conflict between the duo and bring back in a state of normalcy.
Johri to hold talks in presence of Kohli, Rohit, and Ravi Shastri
Rahul Johri will be taking a know-how of the snowballing issue, in presence of Kohli, Rohit, and the Head coach Ravi Shastri in US, where the team will play two T20I matches versus West Indies on August 3 and August 4.
“In today’s age when support groups get involved, things can get messy. Both are mature individuals and things should be back on track after being spoken with,” a source in the BCCI, privy to the developments, was quoted as saying in Times Now.
The alleged rumours gathered up pace particularly after reports of Rohit ‘unfollowing’ Anushka Sharma started surfacing on mainstream media and social media platforms.
Moreover, just a couple of days ago, there were reports where a Committee of Administrators (CoA) member had allegedly requested a senior member of the Indian Cricket Team to write a message on social media that the team environment is “perfectly fine”.
