India’s new BYJU’s jersey: India all-rounder Hardik Pandya was seen wearing a jersey from the new sponsor of the team.

India and South Africa are all set to play a three-match T20I series from tomorrow. The proceedings will soon be shifted to cricket’s ancestral format as the teams will also play three Test matches starting from October 2 in Visakhapatnam.

In a recent development, the Indian cricketers will be seen with a new sponsor on their jerseys. It was reported a couple of months ago that OPPO will be replaced by BYJU’s on Indian cricketers’ jersey from South Africa’s tour of India.

While there was no official event regarding the same, the players were seen donning the new jersey upon their arrival in Dharamsala. Captain Virat Kohli appeared in the pre-series press conference wearing the new jersey.

Hardik Pandya severely trolled

Besides Kohli, all-rounder Hardik Pandya took to his Instagram account to post selfie in the new jersey. Unfortunately for Pandya, users of social media weren’t too kind on him as they trolled him citing the irony between his educational background and the field BYJU’s primarily works in.

While this is no way of judging anyone, users weren’t warm with respect to the 25-year old cricketer. Having missed the tour of West Indies, Pandya would be looking to make a mark in the imminent series.
