David Miller catch vs India: The South African batsman put on display the third fantastic catch of the match in Mohali.

During the second T20I of the ongoing South Africa’s tour of India in Mohali, South Africa batsman David Miller continued the spree of fielders grabbing fantastic catches in the match. Following India captain Virat Kohli and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, Miller continued to raise the standards on the field.

It all happened on the fourth delivery of the 12th over when Dhawan’s attempt of playing an aerial shot down the ground off South Africa chinaman bowler Tabraiz Shamsi saw walking back to the pavilion.

In the first visual, it seemed as if Dhawan would beat the long-on fielder to earn himself a boundary. However, it wasn’t the case as Miller came from nowhere to time his dive to perfection as he grabbed an absolute one-handed stunner.

Dhawan, who opened the batting with vice-captain Rohit Sharma (12), ended up scoring 40 (31) with the help of four fours and a six. Dhawan was part of a potentially match-winning 61-run partnership alongside captain Virat Kohli.

For the visitors, a wicket was vital to remain in the match. With India chasing a mediocre 150-run target, a stellar Dhawan-Kohli partnership would have seen the match going towards the hosts’ direction.
