Heath Miller FKA Heath Slater in the WWE makes Impact Wrestling Debut at Slammiversary. Miller spent 14 years in the promotion before being released.
Having completed his no complete clause with the WWE, Heath Slater finally made his impact wrestling debut on the Slammiversary PPV. He showed up soon after Kylie Rae had won the #1 contender’s Women’s Gauntlet match.

With a microphone in his hand, he made his way to the ring. A few technical issues with his mic notwithstanding, he announced his intention of becoming the Impact World Champion. He sent a warning to the locker room and issued an open challenge to anyone who wanted to fight him.

Rohit Raju interrupted his promo telling Heath that he would be not be in the world title picture. Raju referenced his quick loss to Drew McIntyre in the WWE saying, “the last time you were in a World title match, it didn’t last very long!”
The two got physical with Heath coming out on top after hitting Raju with a reverse DDT before throwing him outside of the ring. The segment ended with Slater flashing his “Free-Agent” T-Shirt.

Later in the show, he met with Rhyno, his former Tag Team partner in the WWE with whom he won the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. The pair celebrated their reunion before Impact Executive Scott D’Amore came in and told Slater that he doesn’t work there.

D’Amore appreciated the moment between Rhino and Slater, but informed him that due to the pandemic that it was a closed set and they didn’t want any outsiders at the show. Rhyno told his friend to meet him on Tuesday promising him to straighten things out in the meantime.
