Michael Schumacher is battling with his condition claims Jean Todt and wishes that the world is able to see him once again.
Jean Todt, the former Ferrari boss dropped an update on Michael Schumacher’s health and claimed that he is battling with his condition and he wants the world to see him again.
Todt told Mail, as per the Republic that he visited the Schumachers in Geneva, Switzerland, where the former Ferrari driver is continuing his recovery. “I saw Michael last week. He is fighting. I hope the world will be able to see him again.
“That is what he and his family are working towards,” the current President of Formula One’s governing body — the FIA said.
Michael Schumacher’s head injury
Schumacher suffered a huge head injury in 2013 after he met a fatal accident while skiing during his holidays in the Alps. His family has been secretive about his day-to-day updates and kept him away from any media attention.
However, a few months ago, it was revealed that Schumacher might go through a stem cell surgery. But a source close to the family told that it was an unlikely treatment, for now at least, given the restrictions caused by the Coronavirus outbreak.
But Todt revealed that his family is preparing for Schumacher’s first public appearance in 7 years.
Michael Schumacher and Jean Todt’s dominance in F1
Schumacher had his own era during 2000’s and won 5 straight world championships with Todt as the team principal of Ferrari. The German driver has in total record 7 Championships, which might be leveled by Lewis Hamilton after this season.
When asked whether Schumacher is the best ever F1 driver, Todt said, “I love Michael but it is impossible to say who is the best ever. There is Juan Manuel Fangio, Jim Clark, Ayrton Senna, and Michael. You can only think in terms of who is the best in a certain generation.”
