In what is his ninth such award in this format, vice-captain Stokes was rightly awarded the ‘Man of the Match’ award for his game-changing performance with both the bat and the ball today. Apart from Stokes, the likes of opening batsman Dom Sibley (120) and veteran seamer Stuart Broad (38-12-108-6) also did well for the hosts.
