There is no doubt that Virat Kohli is modern day batting great. He is the linchpin of India’s much vaunted batting line up and is soon developing into a fantastic captain. But other than his batting and captaincy prowess, Virat Kohli’s greatest contribution to Indian cricket is the awareness that he is created about his fitness level. The next generation of Indian cricketers will work on their fitness, in addition to their batting and bowling skills and there in lies Kohli’s contribution. In this video, Virat Kohli reveals his secret to fitness.
Kohli advises the youth to concentrate on working on their lower body and not just on their biceps and triceps. He says that you need to have a strong pair of legs, otherwise you will not be able to play cricket.

Kohli is currently in London, where he is leading his country in the Champions Trophy. India started their campaign by thrashing Pakistan in their opening match. Before the match, there was talk of dressing unrest existing in the current squad. According to reports, Kohli and coach Kumble having a fall out over certain team decisions.
Kumble was reported to have leaked sensitive team information to some of his journalist friends. These reports came in light of BCCI’s decision to look for a new coach for Team India. Kumble was apparently miffed that his success with the national team had not been taken into account while the BCCI took this decision.
Nevertheless, Kumble and Kohli will look to bury the hatchet, as India seek to become the first team to retain the Champions Trophy.
