Bangladeshi fans target Kohli after their semi final defeat to India in the Champions Trophy
For the first time in their cricketing history, Bangladesh made it to the semi finals of an ICC tournament. While they were the underdogs in the game against India, Bangladesh were expected to give India a tough match. But India were just too strong on the day, as they brushed aside Bangladesh on their way to the final. Bangladeshi fans were left very disappointed, and they took their frustrations out on social media with Virat Kohli being public enemy number one. For a brief period when Mushfiqur Rahim and Tamim Iqbal were batting together, Bangladesh looked to be heading towards a score in excess of 300. But then a masterstroke in giving the ball to Kedar proved to be the turning point, he picked up both Tamim and Mushfiqur in quick succession.

Rohit and Dhawan gave India a great platform and then captain Kohli took charge as he smashed the Bangladesh bowlers all over the ground. It was quite disappointing to see Bangladesh give up so meekly. In what was the biggest match in their history, Bangladesh seemed bereft of ideas to stop Rohit and Kohli.

After the match, Bangladeshi fans took their frustrations out on social media. One such fan put out a poor image of Kohli, which was then shared and like by a huge number of fans. The image started circulating on social media, which then irked the Indian fans.
Clearly their fans need to stop doing such things in the future.
