Roman Reigns and Randy Orton take hilarious digs at each other on social media. The Big Dog made his return to the WWE at SummerSlam.
The tag line of SummerSlam this year was ‘You’ll never see it coming’. Many believed it was a reference to the finish of Randy Orton’s match against Drew McIntyre. Instead, it foreshadowed the return of Roman Reigns to WWE.

The Big Dog crashed the pay-per-view right at the end and mauled both Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman signalling his intent to recapture the Universal Championship.

After the event, Orton noted that there was something new about the former Shield Member and was quick to point it out on his Instagram.
He uploaded a picture of Brian Griffin, the dog from ‘Family Guy’ showing off his pearly whites and compared him to Reigns.
Reigns responded with a picture of himself captioned: “@randyorton If I was you… I’d be talking bout me too, cause nobody’s talking bout you. #GetYourNumbersUp”

Orton, who is known to not back down from a verbal duel, had a response ready. He posted another picture, this time comparing Reigns with a horse.
While Reigns is arguably WWE’s biggest star right now, Randy Orton has definitely been the promotion’s MVP during the Covid Era. Both men are on different brands and are unlikely to face each other anytime soon.
However, with both Orton and Reigns pursuing the World title on their brands, there is a chance they could come face to face against each other at Survivor series as the champions of RAW and SmackDown. But that is still some time away. For now, fans can enjoy their back and forth on social media.
