Roman Reigns comes out on top against Drew McIntyre at Survivor Series 2020

Roman Reigns comes out on top against Drew McIntyre at Survivor Series 2020 to level the scores for SmackDown in the brand warfare.

Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre wrestled at last year’s Wrestlemania to a lukewarm reaction. The match felt like an excuse to give Reigns a match on the card. A year and a half later, the two are the hottest names on their respective brands.

Survivor Series 2020 pitched two of Vince McMahon’s chosen once against each other. Both world champions fought with the pride of their brands on the line, in the end, it was the Tribal Chief who came out the victor although the win was not as convincing as he would have liked,

Reigns and McIntyre traded blows early on before unleashing an all out brawl. Reigns managed to get the upper hand with strikes and chinlocks to keep his opponent from gaining any momentum. McIntyre eventually managed to make a comeback and even landed a Future Shock DDT.


McIntyre finally hit Reigns with a Claymore but Reigns took the referee out with him. Jey Uso came running for the interference but McIntyre made short work of him before Reigns low blowed him. Jey then dropped him with a Super kick.


Reigns quickly locked in the Guillotine choke to finish the WWE Champion. McIntyre refused to tap out and chose to pass out in the hold instead.


Reigns and Jey then celebrated the victory with The Tribal Chief seemingly forgiving his cousin for losing earlier in the night.
