Aaron Rodgers Backs Up Marques Valdez-Scantling Following Criticism
Aaron Rodgers came to his teammate’s defense following a heavy dose of criticism. Rodgers took Scantling’s side after a costly error.
Tied in overtime, 31-31, with the ball in their possession, it appeared as if the Packers were in good shape. However, the Colts had other plans:

Aaron Rodgers Responds To Scantling’s Death Threats
Aaron Rodgers took to social media to suggest that everyone “RELAX” over this mistake. Here is what he had to say in detail:
“I think we need some perspective in this time about production. Everybody wants to make these knee-jerk reactions to things and you forget about the facts — as the kids say these days, the big facts — that there’s a human element to this”
“Anybody who is so distraught about this that they need to go to Twitter and talk about killing someone, I would suggest that you relax”

Rodgers stepping in to show solidarity for his teammate is admirable, but it’s sad that he has to do that in the first place. Human-beings play in the NFL. Mistakes are bound to happen.
Moreover, while the loss may have stung, the Packers are still bound for a deep run in the NFC Playoffs. They lead the NFC North by two games and sit at a well positioned 7-3. Look for Scantling and Rodgers to bounce back in big ways.
