“I disappeared and tried not to look at the images too much”- Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo blast F1 for repeated Grosjean crash replays.

Formula 1 is a dangerous sport, admitted by Lewis Hamilton, but the drivers are still sensitive to the accidents on the track, but the broadcasters clearly failed to recognize the latter truth.

With Romain Grosjean surviving from a ball of fire, the race was immediately stopped. But what followed was a series of replays of the tragic crash everywhere until the race got restarted.

Sebastian Vettel who had to sit in the car once again confessed that he couldn’t watch the replays for long and had to disappear to prevent overthinking and negative thoughts overpowering his psyche.

“First I didn’t understand. Then obviously I saw the fire and then I was asking all of the time if he’s out and they said they don’t know. And that was a bad feeling.

“Obviously once I jumped out of the car and I realised he’s out that’s the main message of the day. I hope he’s as good as he can be. I don’t know how he managed to get out because the car seemed to catch fire immediately.

“It wasn’t easy to get back in but I think it was probably best to get straight back in rather than wait for a week. People like to see this stuff, I guess, otherwise the director or whoever wouldn’t show it again and again and again.”

“People like crashes and maybe sometimes they forget that we are behind the wheel. So I guess you could say it’s part of the show. So that’s why I disappeared and tried not to look at the images too much.”

Daniel Ricciardo joins in an aggressive tone.

On most of the days, cool-headed Daniel Ricciardo couldn’t keep calm and in an interaction with the Ziggo Sports criticized the broadcasters for repeatedly showing Grosjean’s crash replays which somewhere affected all of them.

It was observable that none of the drivers was comfortable with the incident and looked stress amidst the red light, with many already getting onto social media to hope for Haas driver’s wellness.
