WWE Star and SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks changes her name on social media following her appearance on ‘The Mandalorian’.

2020 has been an amazing year for Sasha Banks in an out of the ring. The Boss has been a mainstay since 2015 on the main roster. However, she is now finally being presented as a star on their weekly show. She is the focal point of the women’s division and has also an appearance on hit Disney show ‘The Mandalorian’ on her CV.

The Boss even featured on the Show’s trailer for the second season. She was credited on the site for the show as Sasha Banks. Interestingly, she was credited as Mercedes Varnado (her real name) when she finally made an appearance on the show.

Sasha Banks who has gone by her WWE name for quite a long time has reverted back to her real name on Twitter.


Many wrestlers have done this in the past for various reasons. A lot of WWE stars were changing their usernames into their real names in order to fall in line with WWE’s policy regarding contact with third party apps.


Sasha however, does not seem to fall in that category. It seems that she is keeping herself open to business outside of the WWE in case she ever steps outside of the promotion. She has broken into public consciousness as off late and is very popular within the WWE franchise as well.
