Cheteshwar Pujara dismissal vs Australia A: Watch Michael Neser castles Pujara with a jaffa in tour match
Cheteshwar Pujara dismissal vs Australia A: The Indian batsman wasn’t even allowed to get off the mark in the second innings.
During the third day of the first warm-up match of the ongoing India’s tour of Australia between Australia A and India A at the Drummoyne Oval, Australia A pacer Michael Neser bowled a jaffa of a delivery to dismiss India A batsman Cheteshwar Pujara.
Having pitched on the off-stump, the ball straightened just enough to beat the right-hand batsman and hit the top of off-stump. Given Pujara’s skill set, someone had to bowl such a delivery to get him out early on.
Despite being known for his solid defense, Pujara has been dismissed on such deliveries in the past as well. Pujara, who had scored a half-century in the first innings, couldn’t even get off the mark on the eight deliveries that he faced today.
Trailing by 59 runs in the first innings, the visitors failed to make the best of another chance to bat against a solid bowling attack. Other than Pujara, all other specialist Indian batsmen got off to starts but none of them was successful enough to convert it into a significant total like what Pujara (54) and captain Ajinkya Rahane (117) did in the first innings.
At the time of publishing this article, wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha (24*) is batting alongside a No. 11 in Kartik Tyagi as India have lost nine wickets around the 150-run mark.

Like all great batsmen, Cheteshwar Pujara just sat down to watch a replay of his dismissal, analysed it briefly & internally before moving on #AUSvIND #AUSAvIND
