Schedule for India’s exciting home season is announced
Virat Kohli and his boys are in the driver’s seat in the ongoing test series against Sri Lanka. They have taken an unassailable lead in the 3 match test series and have made their intentions clear for the upcoming season that they are here to accept nothing but victory.
When they return from Sri Lanka, they will embark upon a long and hectic home season consisting of 23 matches in between September and December.
The teams that will be coming to India for the upcoming season are Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

The Aussies will be touring India in mid-September to play 5 ODIs. Chennai, Bangalore, Nagpur, Indore and Kolkata will be hosting the five ODI matches. After the completion of the ODIs, three T20Is will be played at Hyderabad, Ranchi and Guwahati.
Another team from down under, New Zealand, will be coming to India in mid-October to play three ODis and three T20Is. The ODIs will be played at Pune, Mumbai and Kanpur while the T20Is will be hosted by Delhi, Cuttack and Rajkot.
The neighbours, Sri Lanka would be touring India after the completion of the New Zealand series to play three tests, three ODIs and three T20Is.
The Indian Test side is currently at the top of the table in the Test Rankings. They had a successful season last year when they played a total of 13 test matches against New Zealand, England, Bangladesh and Australia.

5 ODIs: Chennai, Bengaluru, Nagpur, Indore and Kolkata
3 T20Is: Hyderabad, Ranchi and Guwahati
New Zealand’s tour of India
3 ODIs: Pune, Mumbai and Kanpur
3 T20Is: Delhi, Cuttack and Rajkot
Sri Lanka’s tour of India
3 Tests: Kolkata, Nagpur and Delhi
3 ODIs: Dharamsala, Mohali and Visakhapatnam
3 T20Is: Kochi/Thiruvananthapuram, Indore and Mumbai.
