WATCH : Kyrgios hits a a few jaw dropping winners against Nadal
The bad boy of tennis, Nick Kyrgios made the news again but this time for his brilliance on the court rather than some off field shenanigans.
Kyrgios was in fine form, as beat the new world number one, Rafael Nadal in the quarter finals of the Cincinnati Open earlier today.
The Australian took the match 6-2, 7-5 in what will be a huge boost to him ahead of the US Open in a couple of weeks from now.

But more than the result, Kyrgios will be pleased about the quality of his performance, as he completely outplayed Nadal during the course of the match.
Some of his cross court winners in particular had the audience cheering for him, in spite of the uber popular Rafael Nadal at the other end.
People were also quick to note that while Kyrgios was on song, Rafa was not really at it during the match.
The Spaniard seemed a little lethargic and did not look like someone who had recently become the world number one again.
But that should not take away from the brilliance of Kyrgios on the night. Its performances like these that indicate the potential in the man.
If only he could channel it in the right direction, we could have a superstar on our hands!
