“This has gotta stop”: Hawks star Trae Young calls out Grayson Allen for tripping him, Allen apologizes on Twitter
Atlanta Hawks’ star guard Trae Young sent out a tweet calling out Grayson Allen for tripping him. Allen responds.
The Atlanta Hawks made their way to Memphis yesterday, as they took on the Grizzlies. The Hawks won that contest 122-114. Trae Young led the way with 36 points and 9 assists, while Ja Morant put up a hard-fought 28 points and 7 assists. However, Trae was still not done with the game, even after it happened a day ago. Trae Young shared a gif of Grayson Allen allegedly tripping him during the match.

The foul, however harmless it may seem, might cause a serious injury to the player. Players in the NBA refrain from committing such acts usually, but every now and then, we hear about such cases.
Grayson Allen responds to Trae Young
Grayson Allen did not wait for long once Trae put out his tweet. Allen took his personality to his Twitter account and replied in the same fashion that he would have done in person.
Damn that must’ve really really hurt. I’m sorry. I hope you’re okay https://t.co/Uwyl7s2Q2v

This isn’t the first time Trae and Allen have locked horns. Earlier, when the Hawks faced the Grizzlies in the preseason games, there was a scuffle between the two back then as well. Both were given double technicals and were ejected from the game.

The story between them goes as far back as their time in the Summer League. Back then Allen was on the Jazz. Trae had made it clear then as well that he did not like the way Allen plays his defense. Allen has a history of playing dirty, and was even reprimanded by his Duke coach for doing so.
