“You wanna be me? You gotta beat me”: Dwyane Wade trash talks his son Zaire Wade in a heated 1 on 1 battle
The former Heat superstar Dwyane Wade was seen playing an intense game of 1-on-1 with his son, Zaire Wade.
Having a 3x NBA Champion, 1x Finals MVP, and 13x NBA All-Star as one’s father can be intimidating at times. Sure, it means that you get attention right from your start, but that can go either way.

Dwyane Wade was seen taking his son to school over the weekend, as a video of a heated 1-on-1 emerged on the internet. D.Wade, even though he has a good 20 years on his son, did not go easy on him. ‘The Flash’ sprinkled the game with some good, old-fashioned trash-talking before finally securing the W.
“You want to be me, you gotta beat me”: Dwyane Wade
D-Wade earned renown as a fierce competitor throughout his career. Playing against his son did not change that. If anything, it made things worse for Zaire. Dwyane Wade was seen going full steam at his son and added some trash talking to the mix as well.
The 3x Champ taught his son a lot about upper body conditioning as he continued to dominate in the paint and get easy points there. Zaire clearly did not like that and went on to mock his father about the same after the game.
“You win on post-ups, congratulations”
The 18-year-old is gaining a lot of wisdom from his father, which would certainly help him with his chances to make his way to the league. Zaire was last seen suiting up as a senior for Sierra Canyon High School and was rated as a 3-star prospect by ESPN. He currently has scholarship offers from UC-Riverside, DePaul, Nebraska, Rhode Island, and Toledo.
