Bradley Beal imitated Russell Westbrook with a rock the cradle celebration after getting an and-one called on Anthony Edwards.

The Wizards won their first game of the season in a blowout last night. With Russ sitting out, the onus was on Beal to run their offense, and he delivered in good measure. Beal finished the night with 31 points on 12-of-20 shooting. The Wizards ran out 130-109 winners.

Eight Wizards players finished in double digits on the night in a well-rounded performance that will kickstart their campaign. Thomas Bryant made all 7 of his field goal attempts. All 5 starters had over 10 points, and none of the Wizards took the floor more than 28 minutes.

After the contest, Bradley Beal talked about the celebration and shared how he ended up doing it, thanks to Russell Westbrook:

“I decided to do it right before I was about to go to the free throw line. I was like, let me get my breath first. Then, I looked at Russ and I was like ‘what does he do? The little baby?’ I was like ‘Russ, what do you do?’ Then, he started doing it and that turned into the baby rock. I probably shouldn’t have done it on [Anthony Edwards] because Ant Man is strong as hell. I got my Russ off. We’re good.”
