Ricochet responds to rumors of him leaving the WWE. The One and Only has had a less than stellar run in the promotion since joining the main roster.

Ricochet was one of NXT’s star performer when he joined the WWE. Constantly in and around the main event, he continually wowed the fans with his athleticism. He was quickly called to the main roster to help with the failing ratings and it seemed the future was very bright for him.

Ricochet would go on to win the United States Championship. That however, would be the last achievement of note in the promotion. The One and Only would fall off the radar so soon, he quickly became just another name on the roster.

Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported that Ricochet’s deal with the WWE was up and he was yet to sign a new contract. The report stated that he had signed a three year deal back in 2018. Which would mean that his contract would come to an end sometime this year.

Ricochet took to social media to claim that news of him leaving the WWE was fake. “This is fake,” he wrote putting to rest every rumor that has circled about him in recent weeks.

Ricochet is currently stuck in booking hell. He is either fodder to Retribution or Hurt Business depending on who needs to look good in a given week. The former US Champion could just as easily change promotions and become a top star. It seems however, that he is willing to stick it out and do the very same at WWE itself.

Whether he does that or not only time will time. The only thing one can say for sure right now is that Ricochet’s time in the WWE seems far from over at the moment.
