“Steph Curry emptied the clip on LeBron James, Lakers”: Kendrick Perkins is hyped after Warriors superstar hits game winner on Anthony Davis
Kendrick Perkins takes to Twitter to voice his excitement over Steph Curry hitting the game winner over Anthony Davis and the Lakers.
It seemed as though the Los Angeles Lakers would be improving to a league best 12-3 record, after the first quarter ended. Dennis Schroder had lit up Steph Curry and the Warriors with 14 points in the first, giving the Lakers a 34-22 lead.
The Lakeshow would go on to gain a whopping 19-point lead over the Dubs. However, the Warriors clawed their way back from down nearly 20, to tie the game up at 108 a piece. Draymond Green proceeded to make a layup to give the Warriors the lead.
Steph Curry would eventually hit the dagger over the outstretched arm of DPOY candidate Anthony Davis to solidify the Golden State victory.
Kendrick Perkins says Steph Curry emptied the clip on the Lakers
Though Steph Curry did not have a particularly efficient game, he stepped up in the clutch, when it counted the most. Curry would end the game going 3-12 from beyond the arc while also recording 4 turnovers.
The 2x MVP’s stat sheet didn’t seem to matter to Kendrick Perkins as he voiced his excitement over the Curry dagger 3. He said, “Steph came through with his Ski Mask on and emptied the clip on the Lakers.”

This tweet was in response to his own tweet where he prematurely said that teams have been waiting for their moment to conduct their own form of a revenge tour on Steph Curry.
“Emptied the clip” might be an exaggeration on Perkins’s part as Curry did shoot quite inefficiently from the field. Luckily for the 3x champ, his teammates picked up the slack.
Kelly Oubre had his best game of the season, recording 23 points on 50% shooting while Andrew Wiggins and Eric Paschall had 18 and 19 points respectively.
