“Kevin Durant is a God”: Andre Iguodala explains why James Harden is so happy to share the court with Nets star once again
Miami Heat veteran Andre Iguodala explains why James Harden is so happy to be in Brooklyn and sharing the court with Kevin Durant.
James Harden is back. He has moved to Brooklyn and suits up for the Nets, but he is back to putting up Harden numbers. In the two matches he has played for the Nets, Harden has averaged 33 points, 13 assists, and 9 rebounds. James Harden seems to be having fun on the court yet again and looks more joyous in general.
While there are others who are questioning Harden’s sudden improvement in numbers, others are glad he’s back. Andre Iguodala took a chance and made a comment on the reason why Harden may be so glad to be back with Durant.
Andre Iguodala explains the Kevin Durant effect
Having played at the highest levels with Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala is probably one of the best people to break down and explain this. Andre and KD were teammates on the Warriors and won 2 championships together.
Apart from the fact that he does not have the solo pressure to carry the team, Andre Iguodala took it to Twitter to break down the reason behind Harden being so happy to be back with KD. Andre complimented KD and called him a ‘God’.
“You ever played with KD… you gone be smiling like that too. Buddy a god!”, Iguodala explained.

This isn’t the first time KD and James Harden are sharing the floor. The two were teammates back before 2012 when they used to play for the Oklahoma City Thunder together. Harden won the 6th man of the year back when he was on the same team as KD and Russell Westbrook.
However, things are different right now. Both players have won the NBA MVP awards, and are stars capable enough to turn a match around single-handedly.
