Adelaide Oval cricket ground weather: What is the weather prediction for Strikers vs Thunder BBL 10 match?
Adelaide Oval cricket ground weather: The SportsRush presents for you the detailed weather prediction for the 53rd match of BBL 10.
The bat flip before the 53rd match of the ongoing 10th season of the Big Bash League between Adelaide Strikers and Sydney Thunder in Adelaide has been delayed due to rain.
Having played a match against each other as recent as yesterday at the same venue, Strikers and Thunder are scheduled to lock horns against each other in what will be their last league match of this season.
In the 13 matches that both the teams have played so far, they have won seven and lost six matches each so far. However, it is a minor one-point lead due to which Strikers are at the third position as compared to Thunder’s fourth position on the points table.

Having said that, the possibility of further rainfall can’t be totally ruled out. While an immediate bat flip and start of play won’t affect the number of overs in the match but it remains to be seen if the ground staff will be able to prepare the ground in time or not.
According to AccuWeather, there is another period of rain scheduled to happen around 8 PM (AEST), i.e., 75 minutes from now. The temperature forecasting website is predicting a 51% probability of rain playing spoilsport in tonight’s match.
While a cloud cover will continue to make its presence felt at Adelaide Oval throughout the match, the probability of rain will decrease after 8 PM. Therefore, the match is highly likely to be played even if it is a rain-curtailed one.
