“Storm brewing between John Wall and Russell Westbrook”: Fans react to altercation between star guards in Rockets win over Bradley Beal’s Wizards
John Wall and Russell Westbrook got into it late in their game against each other. Both received technical fouls for their troubles.
This is the first time Westbrook and Wall face each other since being traded for each other. While Russ had only been in Houston for a year, Wall had been in DC for 10 long years. He reportedly forced the trade once he heard that the Wizards were dangling him as trade bait.
Washington had to give John Wall and a pick up to acquire Westbrook – a deal that looks more lopsided now than ever. Russ is on easily the worst shooting streak of his career. His general play isn’t helping the Wizards on either end a lot. He definitely seems way off what he used to be 4 years ago.
Russ has been so bad that even Wizards fans have turned on him, 13 games into the season.
John Wall and Russell Westbrook jaw at each other to the amusement of fans
John Wall and Westbrook went at each other with 5:16 remaining in the 4th quarter. While mics could not pick up what their war of words was about, it was enough to earn them technical fouls.

After the game was put to bed, Bradley Beal was spotted sitting forlornly. It seems the Wizards star has had about enough of the mediocrity in DC. Russell Westbrook and John Wall have both not cut it with the shooting guard, who’s in his prime right now. He could be the best available for a trade right now.
