“Is the sky blue?”: Bradley Beal gives a sarcastic response after his Wizards lose to the Pelicans despite his 47-point effort
Bradley Beal lets everybody know that he’s frustrated with how the Washington Wizards are playing as their losing streak continues.
After nearly two weeks of missing games due to health and safety protocols, the Washington Wizards are back in action. They faced off against the struggling New Orleans Pelicans last night but were without Russell Westbrook.
This seemed to have mattered quite a bit as the Wizards suffered yet another loss, bringing their record to a league worst 3-11. It was a bitter-sweet game for Bradley Beal as he scored a game high 47 points but could not cash in a win. They were blown out 124-106.
Rumblings around the league of Bradley Beal wanting out have become more prominent than ever. Following the loss, Beal took to his postgame media availability to address his feelings towards the Wizards’ lacklustre performances.

The Wizards franchise star didn’t hold last night with his words when concerning the Wizards’ play as of late. When asked if he was frustrated, Beal sarcastically replied, “Is the sky blue?”
Omg.

This is a clear indication of Beal wanting drastic changes to be made to the Wizards roster – changes that could help him compete for championship. The Wizards, as presently constructed, can’t even compete for a play-in berth, let alone the Larry O’Brien trophy.
Amidst all the trade talk however, Bradley Beal gave Wizards fans a glimmer of hope. He said, “It’s tough. We wanna win. I wanna win. This is why I stayed. I want to win here. I figure this is the place I can get it done.”
It seems as though Brad Beal’s intentions of staying loyal to Washington are still well in play, for the time being that is.
