Is LeBron James playing tonight vs Warriors? Lakers release ankle injury report for their superstar suit ahead of clash against Stephen Curry and co
Lakers superstar LeBron James may not suit up against the Warriors due to a left ankle sprain he sustained 2 days ago against Portland.
The Los Angeles Lakers broke out of their four-game slide, as they beat the Portland Trailblazers 102-93 on Friday. Having Dennis Schroder back provided a huge boost to the team, and it clearly was displayed by their performance on the court.
LeBron was back to his usual self, recording a team-high 29 points.
The Lakers would look to finish the games before the All-Star Game on a high note now, to provide a fresh start for the second half. They have three games lined up before the break starts. Their first matchup is against the Warriors tonight, at Chase Center. They then face the Suns and end the first half of the season with a game against the Kings.
LeBron James listed as probable with a left ankle sprain
LBJ makes his way back to the injury report for the Lakers. He has been dealing with a left ankle sprain for quite some time now, and now he’s been on the injury report for two games in a row.
No surprises on the Lakers’ injury report vs. Golden State tomorrow: LeBron James (left ankle sprain) is probable. Anthony Davis (right calf strain) is out.

Anthony Davis is indicated as out and is expected to return no sooner than mid-March. In his absence, the entire burden falls on LBJ’s shoulders. Even though James got injured in the very first game of the season, he still hasn’t missed a single game this season.
LBJ was putting up mind-blowing numbers for his 18th season and was the forerunner in the MVP race till the recent Lakers’ skid. He still is among the top 5 candidates in the race, and has a lot of time to solidify his case for his 5th MVP honors.
The Warriors, on the other hand, are looking to play their way out of the 7-10 seeds they’ve been stuck at for so long. They’ll need Curry to produce another vintage display.
