“How Sonya Curry reacts to Steph Curry dropping 49 against Seth Curry”: Kevin Durant takes to Twitter to laugh at hilarious video following Warriors MVP dropping nearly 50 on Joel Embiid and the Sixers
Kevin Durant reacts to a Twitter video implying Sonya Curry will not take too lightly of Steph Curry dropping 49 on his little brother.
Steph Curry continued the torrid run he’s been on since the trade deadline, as he had yet another masterpiece of a performance last night against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Ironically, the 2x MVP took to the ‘City of Brotherly Love’ to drop 49 points on his little brother, Seth Curry, en route to an impressive win over the number 1 seeded team out East.
Steph and Seth have shared some memorable moments on the court together over the years. Most notably, the two matched up against one another in the 2019 Western Conference Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Portland Trail Blazers.
However, like most days, the older brother got the better of his younger sibling. Last night was no different as Steph hit a couple of shots right in Seth’s face, including a step back, buzzer-beating 3 to end the 1st quarter.
Kevin Durant and NBA Twitter react to Steph Curry dropping 49 points on Seth Curry.
Of course, following a Steph Curry performance as incredible as the one he had last night, NBA Twitter was bound to blow up with hilarious reaction videos.
The fact that he dropped a near 50-bomb on Seth of all people, was just the icing on the cake fans needed to pump out some great content on the social media app.
Kevin Durant, who is known to have what’s called ‘Twitter fingers’, wasted no time in reacting to a meme posted by Josiah Jackson that read, “How Sonya Curry doing Steph for dropping 49 on Seth and the Sixers.”

KD retweeted it by captioning it with 2 simple laughing face emojis. The video, which is a woman freaking out at Ice Cube in the 1991 classic Boyz n the Hood, that was posted is quite amusing as it implies both Seth and Steph’s mom is unhappy about the fact that the latter did not go easy on his little brother.
With the way Steph Curry has been torching NBA defenses from distance on incredible efficiency, it seems as though he does not care who he’s matched up against; he just wants to win with the Warriors while he’s still in his prime.
