When will Indian team travel to England: Both India’s men and women’s teams will begin their quarantine period in Mumbai tomorrow.
Both India’s men and women’s cricket teams will have to undergo strict quarantine periods starting from tomorrow in Mumbai ahead of their tour of England.
While the men’s team are scheduled to play the World Test Championship final and a five-match Test series against England, the women’s team will play a one-off Test, three ODIs and as many T20Is.
Brought to Mumbai from across the country by charter flights, both the teams will undergo a two-week long quarantine period in a team hotel.
Traveling is a challenge in the pandemic but it is reassuring to see elaborate measures by BCCI for our health and safety. A charter ✈️ to Mumbai and UK and regular RT-PCR Tests at home. #LetsDoThis

As far as the men’s team is concerned, captain Virat Kohli, vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, opening batsman Rohit Sharma and head coach Ravi Shastri will join the team in the team hotel on May 24. With the quartet residing in Mumbai itself, they will have to undergo a strict quarantine at home till Monday.
When will Indian team travel to England for WTC Final?
As has been the case since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, all the players will have to return three negative COVID-19 tests before boarding the flight to Mumbai.
The testing will continue to happen during the hotel quarantine in Mumbai especially before leaving for England. It is worth mentioning that there’s a strong possibility of both the teams traveling together in a charter flight to England on June 2.

Set to directly reach Southampton where the Test Championship final will be played against New Zealand from June 18, the men’s team will have to further undergo a 10-day quarantine period at the Ageas Bowl according to ESPNcricinfo.
However, with both the team hotel and ground being at the same place in Southampton, it wouldn’t be a hard quarantine as the visitors will be allowed to train in a “controlled” fashion.
