“Anthony Davis cuddles with LeBron James”: Lakers star goes to lift the King up, ends up falling and hugging him against the Warriors
As Anthony Davis rushes to lift LeBron James up, he trips and hugs the King during their play-in clash against Stephen Curry and his Warriors.
The newly-introduced play-in tournament received a lot of criticism. While some players loved the idea behind the controversial addition, superstars like LeBron James didn’t tip their hats off to the new venture.
However, in only the inaugural year of the new play-in tournament, fans have been blessed to witness two long-time rivals go against each other. LeBron James and his 7th seeded Lakers took on Stephen Curry and his 8th seeded Warriors. The match managed to live up to its super-hyped expectations.
In an action-packed thriller, the defending champions managed to grab a 103-100 win. LBJ’s incredible 22-point, 11-rebounds and 10-assists triple-double eclipsed Steph’s valiant 37-point efforts.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis cuddle mid-game
Early in the third quarter, the Laker All-Star duos displayed their love for each other. As Bron fell down, getting pushed by GSW’s Juan Toscano-Anderson, Anthony Davis immediately rushed to pick his teammate up.
While Davis lent out his hand, he ended up tripping and falling over King James. The two even shared a special moment as they hugged it out, celebrating their 6-point lead.
After being silent the first two quarters, James decided to take things in his own hands down the stretch. Despite getting hit in the eye and seeing “three baskets”, the 17-time All-Star knocked down the crucial game-winning three-pointer.
