“LeBron James ain’t playing on one leg no more”: Lakers star responds to NBA fans who saying he’s playing through injury
Lakers’ superstar LeBron James reassures fans about his ankle, says he and the Lakers are ready to defend their championship
The Los Angeles Lakers began their journey to defend their title yesterday. After beating Stephen Curry and his Golden State Warriors 103-100, the Lakers are now headed to Phoenix to match up with the Suns for their first-round playoffs matchup. LeBron and his Lakers rose up, after a slow start to the game. With the most eyes an NBA game has had since the 2019 WCF Game 4, the King had to rise to the occasion.

LeBron James recorded a triple-double to push his team to the win and hit the game-winning shot over Steph Curry as well.
LeBron James squashes away doubts about his health
Yesterday, Marc J Spears of ESPN made his comments about LeBron James playing ‘off of one leg’. He talked about how the King looked shook up and was not exerting equal pressure on both legs.
However, it did not take LeBron long to respond to the sane and clear away any doubts. He assured everyone that the Lakers are ready for their title defense. LeBron said,
“I’m good. I told you guys I was good. I’m good. That’s the most minutes I’ve played in a long time and I didn’t feel anything on that play. Draymond’s finger or thumb or whatever went directly into my eye, and that’s why I was down,” James said. “Just making sure I was okay, making sure I wasn’t bleeding and making sure I could see a little bit at least so I could finish the game.”
Even though LBJ says he’s good, he surely isn’t anywhere close to being his 100%. However, he wouldn’t be willing to share that information with his opponents ahead of a grueling first-round series against the Suns.
