“Jrue Holiday delivers perfect pass to Giannis Antetokounmpo right into the hoop”: When Bucks guard misdirected a lob pass and got a bucket vs Miami Heat
Jrue Holiday has been a difference-maker for the Bucks all year. The 30-year-old carried this into their playoff series against Miami as well.
Milwaukee was in the dark awhile, but it has now seen the light of Jruth. They’ve been playing Eric Bledsoe at the point guard role in the 3 seasons before this, without much success.
While Bled certainly has his uses to an NBA roster, his skillset is a bit redundant especially when pairing Giannis with it. Jrue’s shooting, on the other hand, has been really great to pair with the Greek Freak. The Bucks are now arguably more dangerous than they’ve been the past 2 years.

Jrue has been an All-Defensive team candidate in addition to being a reliable scorer and playmaker all year. His veteran presence, shotmaking and clutch defensive abilities have made the Bucks a more versatile team than before.
Holiday also signed a max extension on his current contract that’ll keep him in Milwaukee for 4 more years. By the looks of it, his contract is going to reap rich dividends for the franchise over its length.
Jrue Holiday lobs the ball to Giannis Antetokounmpo, but it goes in instead
One of the signs that a player is having an amazing time on the court is when even his mistakes go unpunished. Now Jrue has been in his element all game long against the Heat in Game 1 of their first round series.
The 6’4″ guard got the ball at the top of the key during the 2nd quarter of the game. He believed that he had a chance to throw a lob to a rolling Greek Freak. So he went for it.
The problem was that his lob was woefully off the mark. So inaccurate, in fact, that it swished straight through the hoop in front of the disbelieving Heat players.

If Milwaukee has this kind of luck for the rest of the series, the team will easily move ahead.
