Is Mike Conley going to play Game 3 vs Los Angeles Clippers? Utah Jazz release injury report for their veteran point guard ahead of their clash with Kawhi Leonard and co.

Utah Jazz release an injury report for their veteran point guard Mike Conley ahead of their Game 3 clash against Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers.

In this 2020-2021 campaign, the Utah Jazz has been the best team so far. Finishing with a league-best record of 52-20, the Jazz really took their 2020 playoffs exit personally.

Many players from the Jazz team stepped up their game this season. Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert were fabulous as usual. Mike Conley’s veteran experience has been pretty valuable for the Jazz and was a major reason for their success this year. Playing 29.4 minutes per game, Conley Jr. averaged an incredible 16.2 points, 6 assists and 3.5 rebounds. Mike was rewarded for his increase in production when he was named an All-Star for the first time in his 13-year career.

The 6-foot-1 point guard has been sensational this postseason too. Averaging a staggering 17.4 points on 47/55/100 shooting splits in the first round against his former team, Memphis Grizzlies.

However, after being sidelined with a “mild right hamstring strain” in Game 5 against the Grizzlies, Conley is yet to take on the floor against their Western Conference Semis opponents, the Los Angeles Clippers. Ahead of Game 3 of the Clippers-Jazz series, Utah release an injury report for their starting point guard.

Mike Conley ruled out of Game 3 against Los Angeles Clippers in the team’s latest injury report

After sitting out Games 1 and 2, according to Utah’s injury report, Mike Conley Jr was “questionable” this morning. But he’s been ruled out according to the latest updates provided by the Jazz.

Fortunately, even without the likes of their All-Star, backed by Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, Utah managed to snatch both the first two games and now lead the series 2-0.

Even though the Jazz looks well in control of the series so far, the team would want Mike out on the floor as soon as possible. However, sadly for Utah fans, it is highly unlikely for Conley to not suit up and step on the floor on Saturday night.

While the series now shifts to LA, the Clippers will hope to grab a couple of wins before it becomes too late. For the Jazz, they will be looking to finish off the series in the remaining 2 games.
