“Good luck, Chuck”: Draymond Green hilariously dismisses Charles Barkley’s prediction of the Bucks beating Kevin Durant and the Nets in his return to NBAonTNT
Draymond Green tells Charles Barkley, “Good luck, Chuck,” after the Suns legend predicts that the Milwaukee Bucks will beat the Nets.
The Milwaukee Bucks proved in their first round series against the Miami Heat that they aren’t just different on paper. Bench Boss Mike Budenholzer seems to have gotten over the fact that drop coverage and staying with your man isn’t always the best strategy as he employed a bevy of switches involving Giannis and everybody else on the floor, disrupting the Heat’s offense.
With the Brooklyn Nets having dropped 141 points in Game 4 (franchise Playoff record), it seems as though Game 5 at home will be there’s for the taking. This would set them up for a second round date with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Though the Bucks won the season series in the regular season in two very impressive wins, with Giannis dropping nearly 50 in one of them, it should be noted that the Nets did not have James Harden nor Nicholas Claxton during those wins.
Draymond Green and Charles Barkley seem to get into it on the former DPOY’s return to NBAonTNT on the topic of whether the Bucks or the Nets will represent the Eastern Conference in the 2021 NBA Playoffs. Green seems to have an opinion that is quite obvious but Barkley’s rebuttal prompts a hilarious response from the 3x champ.
Draymond Green doesn’t believe Charles Barkley’s prediction of the Bucks beating the Nets.
Unfortunately for Chuck, even in Shaquille O’Neal’s absence, the NBAonTNT crew has a replacement is up for battling it out with Barkley on any and everything basketball related. Draymond Green has shown in the past that his short stints as an analyst on air are chalked full of in-depth research coupled with a sense of hilarity, reminiscent of guys like Chuck and Shaq themselves.
Before Game 4 between the Wizards and the Sixers tipped off, Ernie asked Draymond who he believes will win the Eastern Conference. Not surprisingly, Draymond Green picked his former teammate’s squad, the Brooklyn Nets to win the East. ‘Sir Charles’ however, interjected and claimed the Bucks will beat the Nets, prompting Green to say, “Good luck, Chuck.”

Whether or not Draymond Green was referencing 2007’s atrocious romantic comedy, ‘Good Luck Chuck’ starring Jessica Alba; perhaps we would have to ask the All-Star himself.
