Watch: Virat Kohli’s classy gesture to hand trophy to Mohammed Siraj
Virat Kohli is not the same as before. He is following the footprints of MS Dhoni. He is gaining formidable experience from the veteran MSD in all possible aspects.
Under Virat Kohli, India won 7 successive bilateral ODI series wins that is the most by any skipper. Also, India clinched the first ever T20I series win over New Zealand.
Following India’s 2-1 series win, all the players including the team staffs got pumped up. All that hard work that they executed, they got good results in return.
In the post-match, Virat Kohli displayed a classy gesture after collecting the trophy. He just handed out the trophy over to Mohammed Siraj who did not play today.
This creates a lot of confidence in youngsters. Like MS Dhoni, Like Virat Kohli. Once MSD was doing it and now Virat Kohli is instilling it in the young prospects.
Mohammed Siraj was given the chance to make his first appearance in the previous match. He was a tad nervous at the start but went about his business as he picked up the important wicket of New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson.
Classy things like these should be continued further for better results. It is good that youngsters are getting the much-needed motivation from the seniors.
