Kyle Pitts is set to be a generational talent at the tight end position, but Cameron Jordan think that Pitts is lacking a bit when it comes to physicality.

Part of the reason many people believe that Pitts can explode on to the scene as an NFL tight end is because he has the perfect combination of size, speed, and skill. Most notably, the way he creates mismatches with his size and his ability to exploit those mismatches using his skill is why people believe he’ll be a phenom.

Yeah at 6’6″ and 246 pounds, Pitts ran a 4.40 40 yard dash. That kind of speed is simply unheard of from anyone of his size and position. However, Cameron Jordan from the New Orleans Saints had to downgrade Pitts in some way as a part of the rivalry.

Cameron Jordan Calls Out Kyle Pitts And Says He’s Ready To ‘Detach Him’

Jordan is one of the best defensive players in the game right now, and he commands a fearsome New Orleans Saints defensive line.

In the last four years, Jordan has compiled an impressive 48 sacks for an average of 12 a year. He’s compiled an impressive 90 quarterback hits over those four years as well earning a reputation as a game wrecker. He’s a leader for a Saints defense that regularly finishes at the top of the league.

Jordan didn’t mince words when it came to talking about his rookie division rival Kyle Pitts as he went off about him, claiming he didn’t have the body to be a tight end and that he should watch out for Jordan when the two play.

Jordan is one of most aggressive players in the league, so it makes sense that he didn’t hold back when it came to talking about Pitts. Despite all the hype and expectations around Pitts (rightfully so), Jordan doesn’t want to dabble with any of that.

At the end of the day, the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints are division rivals, and that’s how Jordan sees Pitts, as someone he needs to destroy.
