Bucks’ superstar and newly crowned Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo fires back at Chris Paul for his comments after Game 5

The entire NBA Playoffs have not been the best time for Giannis Antetokounmpo from the free-throw line. The Greek Freak, despite being a dominant force on the floor, always had the free throw line as his weak spot. Everyone knew about the weakness so much so, that people asked the Suns why did they not Hack-a-Giannis towards the end of Game 5.

However, it wasn’t only the analyst and the media people talking about Giannis and his free throws publicly. Even Chris Paul talked about how everyone, including Giannis, expects him to miss free throws.

Chris Paul said they have to be better on the rebounds they couldn’t gather from the missed free throws by Giannis Antetokounmpo: “Everybody is anticipating him to miss, even him.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo took it personally and waited to fire back at Chris Paul

If there is one player who is known to take things personally, it’s His Airness Michael Jordan. There have been instances where players have been able to channel his spirit, but it doesn’t happen often. Giannis Antetokounmpo did the same, as he took the floor against the Suns today. Giannis was a man on a mission, who single-handedly ensure the Suns could not force a Game 7.

The Greek Freak even dealt with his most fatal flaw and overcame it. He went 17-19 from the free-throw line, something no one could have ever anticipated. During the final presser, Giannis talked about the same and took a shot at Chris Paul for his comments.
